I've encountered Sylvia 22 times since 2006. She's probably the oldest turtle I've found, judging by the smooth carapace and slow growth. I just found her again after a 4 year disappearance. I had just about concluded she'd died.

First post: Day 12 of the brood XIX cicadas. They're really loud now, for much of the day. We seem to have acquired a chorus center near the house.
