Inspired by @markcarey93.bsky.social's article on how much the Premier League table changes after 10 games, I looked at the Championship table after 15 matches vs 46, and if the same patterns hold true. All analysis conducted in Excel 2007 because why not.

Are all runs scored equally?

I wanted to test the hypothesis that some batters score runs not only faster than others, but that they score more given the same game-state than batters who faced that same game state. So I used @cricsheet.org data for the men's The Hundred to investigate

Are extras in cricket undervalued?

In an attempt to improve my Python I've been using @cricsheet.org data to test a few hypotheses, the first being the statement above. I've used their data for The Hundred (Men's), as the tournament is reaching its finale.

Despite WBA fans being seemingly happy to be more open and adventurous to shake off this run of draws, the underlying numbers suggest the last few games (against some of the league's better sides + Preston) have seen WBA actually look less likely to win.
