While the images I was inspired to write Johnny Talon and the Goddess of Love and War were all surreal, the music was all jazz. Every time I hear Miles Davis "It never entered my mind", I find Johnny Talon on mine.

Yes, Anthropic stole from me. It took me a year to write that book. Claim filed successfully. Now I wait.

This extract from Henri Gerbault’s “La Faunesse qui a ete visiter l’Exposition” showing the doting grandmother and the child is so heart warming I had to include something similar in my novel, Absinthe and Alchemy, seeking representation.

I don't remember when I encountered Henri Gerbault's "La Faunesse qui a ete visiter l'Exposition" for the first time, but this remarkable work of art inspired my approach to Absinthe and Alchemy. The novel is now complete at 93,000 words and I'm seeking representation in the query trenches.

Maya Williams ran a workshop on writing poetry regarding grief yesterday. I treasure these workshops, run by @masspoetry. Each time I attend, my skill at writing poetry expands.

Thank you Maya.
