I agree about the international oligarchs pushing their agendas, but I do think there is a self confidence of the US gov't going back to the beginning in its freedoms and rights.
I mean things like the whole oath of allegance thing in schools, which just gives me the ick

So people take Americans at their word, despite the clear evidence of facistic tendencies of your government.
Honestly, it just seems like you have it really rough, even outside of the politics (healthcare, guns, not much public transport, etc).

I think the US is a victim of its own propaganda, cause even if the election wasn't rigged, the huge voring blocs (the states) and the gerrymandering mean the whole thing seems not very democratic.

But the line we always hear is "the US is the land of the free and the top democracy out there"
