I think that it is only of ‘value’ if it confirms violence that is otherwise almost unimaginable. Some images of the Holocaust have stayed with me for 40+ yrs but I do not regret seeing them. But I don’t need to see some of the recent violent images as I know what has happened. But others maybe do.

Is it still going or over now??

Thanks. It’s not the biggest problem in the world but very frustrating. People have been signing up for Starlink (!) as they’ve businesses to run and the 4G/5G has been unreliable. Definitely got the impression that National Grid were corporately trying to respond effectively. OpenReach not really.

Power back 😀 No broadband. Very limited 4G that comes and goes…

Concert went well overall thanks. Mozart Serenade for 13 winds - very pretty. But very unhappy with my own playing so instrument almost ended up in a hedge on the way home. Ho hum… on we go… 🙂

Any progress with your power?

Was about to reply yesterday but then the local 4G network died just to put the cap on it.

Still, doing better than some - I went and played in my first concert of the year ‘out west’ and the church building had one loo but no water. No water in the village at all.

Sorry to hear it’s gone off. We’ve got ours back late this afternoon after losing it since Thursday night.

We’ve actually been pleasantly surprised by the info / updates on the national grid website. Do you know what it says for you?

Good luck with it all….

Thanks - but I don’t think anyone is repairing anything round here for a few hours yet….
