She was VP, and Democrat candidate for president, so i would say some power. Again, she does not seem to have done or said much at all. I don't dislike her. She's just a bit useless. I doubt posting on Bluesky is going to change the minds of many Republicans.

Because I want Dems to not support genocide in future. Why are you criticising Jill Stein when she's never had any power?

Compared to 25000 under Trump BTW. So Genocide Joe is still undisputed champion and responsible for not ending the genocide under his watch.

People understand that Trump is really bad. You might have seen a couple of news stories about that recently. Biden was absolutely as supportive. He threw the US's diplomatic weight behind Israel when deaths were at their peak and insisted on sending more weapons. 46000 confirmed deaths under Biden.

And Biden was every bit as supportive of the genocide as Trump. He had been for a long time. Per the quote earlier in the thread, he had supported it since the 80s and as president was still supportive. The US kept vetoing UN resolutions for a ceasefire even when the scale of destruction was clear.

Who the fuck is talking about Kamala except to say that she hasn't exactly been vocal? I have almost no opinion about her. In terms of political legacy, she has none. She did almost nothing as VP and gave almost no fight against Trump (or Biden for that matter).

“If attacks were launched from Canada into the US everyone here would have said, ‘Attack all the cities of Canada, and we don’t care if all the civilians get killed,’” Joe Biden, to Menachem Begin, 1982. Long history of encouraging genocide for someone who was only interested in realpolitikk.
January 15, 2026 at 5:00 AM
We didn't stop hearing about it after Trump got elected and i'm pretty sure people are angry at him. It was Biden's fault that it was still going on at that point. Kamala hasn't said much for or against it. It's genocide, so maybe she should have said something against it, you know?

He's probably trying to open a hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Tbf, Bailey is a hecking 12/10 doggo that deserves a portrait made out of veneers from 7 different rare trees.

The only way that they can get off is by saying "only perverts could get off to this" and then they get off to it.

This is also part of the reason that the UAE is so pro Israel. Hamas is seen as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, so the UAE rejects it. It's also why people like Tommy Robinson get invited there regularly.
January 9, 2026 at 6:42 PM
Basically, it's because some Islamic movements are not in favor of the monarchy in the UAE and instead favor a larger role for Islam in politics. One of the groups that UAE particularly attacks is the Muslim Brotherhood, who promote a kind of democracy, albeit one that is not liberal.

I assume the AI is not licenced to give prescriptions, so instead of doing anything useful, it will just sell your private information and tell you to kys.

Counting our blessings, we went to Newcastle and held our own. Brendy scored a couple of good goals. With better use of subs, we could have won that. Still feels like shit though.

Aaronsons had a good game, but he looks puffed out.

Surprised Thiaw never got a second yellow for the penalty incident.

I'm not sure that this is what Rockwell intended when he was inspired by FDRs 4 freedoms to draw a picture to represent freedom of speech. I'm sure Palantir would be unhappy with both FDR and Rockwell. One of the reasons we're headed to a smaller, sadder world.

Wage theft dwarfs the amount lost to waste, fraud and abuse. States should be scrutinising businesses and checking that they aren't ripping off employees, but you won't see Bezos arguing for that.

Once they figure out how to speak enough Danish to declare war, it's so over.
