Thanks to bold action like #ULEZ, London has finally hit legal limits on toxic NO₂!

This wouldn't have been possible if the Mayor of London didn't keep pushing to make it happen.

But, we're not done.

Airlines pay zero tax on fuel, while emissions keep climbing. ✈️

Without fair policies and real financial pressure, there’s no incentive for the industry to cut pollution.

All the commercial airlines in the UK don't pay tax on the fuel they burn. That means a single driver pays more tax on one tank of fuel than every single airline in the UK.

Fuel duty hasn’t risen since 2010, costing the UK £130bn.

Wealthy drivers benefit most, while everyone else faces rising rail fares, cut buses, and poor walking, wheeling & cycling routes.

New runways get the attention, but all airport expansions increase emissions.

Even without new tarmac, more flights = more damage.

We’re going to Parliament on Sept 10 to demand better.

The reason the new runways get so much attention and concern is because they're locking in a huge increase in emissions but even expansions that don't involve new runways are worrying.
