I suppose I shouldn't be shocked by that either. I understand that Trump is polling historically low, but sometimes I wonder how much truth is attached to that considering that many republicans are riding his coattails like this and still winning.

I'm not shocked at all, honestly. Perhaps the tide is low for Trump, but I don't think those voters equate all other GOP to him. Granted, I'm not in TN and don't know much about Van Epps. Did he run on Trump's coattails?
