#8 is Halls of Torment. A survival game with a style very similar to late 90s/early 00s isometric games like Diablo. Good cast of characters to choose from and great music.

#6 is Sherwood. New game for the Commodore 64 that I had the pleasure of playing a few weeks ago, continues to show that people are still developing games for retro consoles and systems. Good music, simple gameplay. FUN.

#4 is Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Fun tRPG that got me through many car rides as a kid. It was also the 2nd Fire Emblem game released outside of Japan. If you could only play one Fire Emblem game, this could be it.

#3 is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Really great ARPG with a western dream team in R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane, and Grant Kirkhope. Feel like it got overshadowed by other releases at the time.

#2 is Metal Gear Solid. Bringing stealth games into the 3D space with quirky mechanics that literally used the console against the player (looking at you Psycho Mantis).

Instead, every day, I'll post a different game that I've played throughout my life.
#1 is Final Fantasy, the first game I ever played.

I'm waiting for the "good response", sounds like the classic response to getting caught stealing others work.
Review sites need to stop shilling when devs do something bad, instead of worrying about losing out on free games.
