We apparently have broken cats. Instead of jumping over the gate to the kids room, she decided to just barrel through it. I'll elaborate more the next time I stream. For the record, she is fine. But the gate was completely taken off the door frame.

That was an interesting experience last night. Found out how high I can jump from a sitting position a few times. Looking forward to more #phasmaphobia in the near future, hopefully with a party who actually know what they're doing so I can either get the right ghost, or not die, or both.

My oldest son (4) just answered the age old question of "what kind of animal is Goofy from Mickey Mouse?" And the answer will surprise you, but it's been in front of us the whole time... Goofy isn't an animal at all. According to him, he's a grown up because he walks on 2 feet.

So, the Mrs started watching (and I got absorbed into it) Big Sky tonight. We're 5 episodes in and I can't tell if it's actually that good, or if there's so much going on at once that it's tricking me into thinking it's good. Any opinions on the show from those more TV literate than I?

What a surprise. Fun fact: since 1984, an Elliott or an Earnhardt has won this award outside of 88 and 89 when Darrell Waltrip won it. That's 38 of 40 years with the same 4 people winning. Feel like that means this award means nothing, personally.

I think I saw the magic fluid falling from the sky last night. Or maybe it's been so long since I've seen it, it's started inhabit ing my dreams. Or my wife was trying to water board me again. Who knows.

Now that my week is over, I can truly reflect on what I did. After fighting off a slight cold at the end of last week, I took it upon myself to PA 6 games of basketball and 1 hockey game on the mic in 5 days. Needless to say, cough drops and throat spray became my best friend.
