I've created a weather bot which posts weather conditions from my garden weather station to BSky every hour. Today's enhancements include a link on each value to a relevant chart on my weather web site. The bot posts here...

I've been experimenting with posting using the BSky API.

First attempt was using PHP/cURL. It worked but expanding beyond the basics was proving tricky.

Swapped to Python. Went from 145 lines of code to 13 which actually had more working functionality than the 145 lines.

Rebuilding the Wiki after...

1) It was wrecked by idiots spammers who figured out a third party editor's account.
2) It was doubly wrecked when the idiot who rebuilt the server it was on didn't realise that the backup of the database was corrupt.

I'll be honest...the second idiot was me 🫢

A press of the virtual remote reset button has brought things back to life. I now need to dig through the logs to see if there's a reason for the crash, or if the server just didn't want to work this afternoon.

The weather-watch.com Discourse forum is currently offline. The node running it appears to have crashed. I'm investigating and will get it back online ASAP
