Hi @johnmu.com vibe about "link spam" is that Google doesnt penalize for buying backlinks anymore - that seems to now be consensus on X and Reddit. One reason cited is to prevent Negative SEO. Newbies are often saying their competitors have so many they can't get into Google. Seems rampant
