And you have a camera that’ll work for you for freaking decades.
Look at it as a long term investment in your photography.
I bought my Leica IIc from DAG.

Well, you have choices. That’s a good thing, yes?

Interesting effect. I could see using it for romantic portraits.

Shoot what you like and tell people to get a life.

I agree with you. Although I would enjoy a continuation of the 2009 reboot, it was good.

Nice LTM lens that also goes to f/32. I have a theory that SLR lens’s focusing rings rotate a lesser number of degrees than a rangefinder lens does. I have a couple of lenses that I can measure.

Why do you like vintage AE systems?
I don’t like them because of the way they can miss calculate exposure, and if/when the AE system breaks and there’s no manual was to set exposure, you can’t use the camera.

I have fun with it too. With an Olympus M43 I have adapted Soviet Industars LTM lenses and a Japanese C-mount CTV lens. Often with good results.

Minimalist photography.

I suspect that the manual suggests holding the Argus A like that so the forehead provides a third support point.
December 2, 2025 at 11:14 PM
Prior rules included Argus cameras. Are they still allowed. /s/ An Argus Fan.
