Your right to own guns should not be more important than your right to survive a school day or a shopping trip or a work day. This would be intolerable in my country and we have been lucky enough to have governments of both sides of the political spectrum who acted accordingly.

I worked in a school office in Australia for over 20 years. Our lock downs were usually for stray dogs on site. As a parent I can't imagine living with this horrendous fact of life for Americans.
