Under the Coalition’s mortgage interest paid income tax deduction which only goes for five years, how will the lenders assess the participants’ financial capability to service the loan? Surely, they will have to be assessed without the rebate being present which equals zero change in eligibility.

Upper house MP Renee Heath just confirmed it was a draw, with 14 Liberals supporting Deeming’s return and 14 opposing. She described the result as “disappointing”.
The draw meant opposition leader John Pesutto drew a casting vote.

When the Coalition say their nuclear power will be "cheaper", just what is it they are measuring? What are the numerator and denominator of the 44% cheaper cost quoted?
