I hope i get these in the right order. 4 coats of greek yogurt with charcoal. Iirc this was after a 220 scuff sanding. I slapped this stool together in 30 minutes and left it rough to see how the paint covers tool marks.

learning to make stick chairs because i have lots of access to the materials. this is my first one ever, on a Chris Schwarz pattern, but with some material substitutions that made things harder for myself. not quite finished. one more glue session then finish sanding.

my friend asked to borrow some carving tools. When I checked to see if she has a mallet, she only has a rubber one. Well, a bit of time on the lathe, and she will have a mallet. (ash with blo and beeswax)

So i cut it down! It's a but under 2/3 of its previous depth now. I had to make some table saw jigs for re-depthing the drawers.

I'll be using glue and screws to attach them to the drawer fronts. That's the next step. I hope the drawers will help me to get rid of the mess.

did some wood turning. Shaker pulls with 3/4 inch tenons for my shop drawers, out of brown ash with a nit of epoxy. Finished with blo.

it has been a while since i made spaghetti allo scamarro, one of my favorite Neapolitan pasta dishes. My sautee pan has bread crumbs, olive oil, raisins, pumpkin seeds, capers, and kalamata olives. And chiles.
