I’m a man that’s devoted his career to working with the disability community and I can assure you that, while they do have a sense of humor, they do not take slurs about their community lightly. The one showing privilege is the one using slurs to offend and demean on social media.

You were lazy and used a SLUR that demeans the disability community. There’s a lot of different words you could have used to tell your “truth” but you chose the low road.

Reporters and creators have to leave and people will follow First question I get from non Bluesky users is “who’s on there? Who do you follow?” Bluesky links are starting to pop up in other outlets. That’s what Twitter thrives on as well, non users clicking a link elsewhere. It will happen in time.
