The Italian Carabinieri could have been sourced for pieces too in an interesting way. To my knowledge, correct me if I am wrong, but Carabinieri uniforms under Mussolini's fascist dictatorship did not have the capes and fancy aesthetics they do today, and rebelled against Mussolini.
