I remember as a kid/teenager/young adult watching footage of “military parades”, soldiers stepping alongside tanks/vehicles and thinking “I’m glad we don’t look like that here in the U.S. Looked UNAMERICAN AF. And sadly now, WE are one of those “strange looking lands far away”

Not a personal attack….but I don’t get people that need to back up into a parking space. Why? If you think it’s easier when you are ready to leave, it still makes it harder for when you arrive, so I don’t get the point.

To all of you that have had dogs or/and cats your whole life….how on Earth do you cope with their loss over and over again? Our amazing cat Morgan died 2 1/2 years ago and I’m STILL rattled…and now my furry boy Mercury, almost 17, is down to the end and I’m just shaken so bad. How do you all do it?!

From a 14 win team last year (82 game season),to a clinched playoff spot this year. Not only did the Detroit Pistons improve, they improved DRAMATICALLY!! Love to see it!

Grief…..what a complex, unpredictable animal…I go many days keeping composure….and then HOLY HELL….days like today just pop up out of nowhere…and I’m reduced to that same me from July 31st , 8 months ago, when I got word my Dad died. And the hurt and pain just swells back up to its original form.

It is International Trans Day of Visibility. I am, and always will be, an unwavering ally to our wonderful trans friends, neighbors, and peers. One of the absolute most incredible, talented, and lovable people I’ve ever met in my life was trans. We lost her several years ago and I miss her always.
