It's impossible to 100% Space Station Silicon Valley (N64) due to one of the trophies being intangible, but good news! The PlayStation port (that renamed it to Evo's Space Adventures, halved the framerate, removed some levels, and replaced the whole soundtrack) fixed it!

BlueSky increased the maximum length of videos up from a measly 30 seconds, so now I can share the full version (plus one loop) of what I think is my best composition, Haunted Gourdwalk!

You might be able to guess where the inspiration for the song name came from...

I agree with you entirely!! My biggest critique is that I think Crash would look better with his chin. Oh, and that I think they made Cortex a little too... normal-looking, I guess??

But I think they pulled it all off great!! It's very expressive and alive!!... Unlike a certain OTHER GAME!!!!

Heheh, I was thinking about saying that exact thing myself. In my memory, Spyro's PS1 models left a lot more to the imagination than Crash's... I do think a lot of the redesigns were hit-or-miss, though.

OR to re-imagine it in a different style entirely! I heard there were a few well-received Resident Evil remakes like that? I also used to daydream about a Pac-Man World 1 remake in the style of World 2 maybe being cool...

Sometimes a company just wants to test the waters, too, if it's been a while.

I suppose I can understand that sentiment. I personally think remakes can and should co-exist with New Things! I think there is value in going back to an old game and expanding on things that maybe weren't fully-baked. Or to just make 'em look fancy, if they're really really old.

Again, though, I never played any of the games, so I can't go much more in-depth than that. I hope the remakes are at least good for what they are. They look like they are, from my perspective?

I had no idea the Spyro remakes were so different! I can see the redesigns being divisive... I like a lot of 'em, personally (but not all), and I definitely appreciate all the dragons you rescue all being unique in looks and voice, now (they weren't before, right...?)!

Totally agree about them fuckin' up Crash's style. Forgot about that, somehow. 'Least a lot of the cutscenes are still pretty well-animated? Thinking of like... the Time Twister animations and stuff. Environments look nice, too, in my memory?

This is Marcy. She is an odd little creature who lives alone in the strange area containing the border between life and death. She doesn't know how she got there, or if she's even alive herself. She is kind to all passersby... or, she would be, if anyone ever showed up.

She resembles a sheet ghost with two short legs and small hands poking beneath she dark gray sheet. She is wearing a bright red bow, and her legs are fully-colored by dark gray-and-red striped socks. She has a large, single eye, and is looking to her right (your left). It is a bright red, and has no pupil. Her small hands are round, and also dark gray.

She is set against a rectangular background which itself is on top of pure black. The rectangle is a dark blue with orange-ish yellow bands swirling about. A mysterious shadow surrounds Marcy, with tendrils or vines of some kind emerging from it.

Sitting above the rectangle on the top-left are the words "From eternal twilight" written in orange.

On the inside of the rectangle, written along the bottom near the bottom-right, is "Marcy" with an uncolored heart drawn after it.

Oh! How do you feel about the Crash and Spyro remakes? I heard most people liked those... They seem very full of added life, to me! Never played any version, though, personally, so I wouldn't know if they Really stack up.

And, of course, most people like the Re-Pacs despite their """quality"""...

I feel like the TTYD remake does a really good job, personally!!

That's... the only example I can think of, though... my "Gaming Portfolio™" is, admittedly, not very diverse...

I don't really get why this is the case. It shouldn't be very hard to just... do it good??

The bugs and crashes though... come on man... there's never an excuse for that. Just playtest it...

I'm sorry to hear those 3DS remakes' visuals weren't very good, though :(

I don't understand what's so hard about just... putting in effort...??? I hope the gameplay was at least good... it's certainly worse in a lot of places in Re-Pac.

It can be a little difficult, sometimes, accepting that I won't ever be as effortlessly skilled or as beloved as someone like my wife. But if I don't care about art that much to begin with, what's the use in being upset about it?

My sloppy doodles are fun, dammit, and that's what REALLY matters!!

I just don't have the intrinsic passion for art to be willing to spend the time and energy on making a full-blown piece out of this idea or that idea, is all.
