Of course, the Ubisoft library undeniably adds to the value of the Gamepass. But does it warrant a 50 percent price increase? Perhaps not. Let's be real, even if they add value, people did not ask for this. In fact people only asked for what Microsoft was promising them already, day 1 releases.

Having been on Steam since 2013, my view is actually the opposite. What Steam used to be, not only in terms of the games Valve produced but the overall design of it, now its just plain and store is cluttered by adult games and memes turned indie slop. Just my perspective, I hear you, but I disagree.

I kind of disagree with that. The brand identity is still there. The iconic xbox games will still be thought of as xbox games (Gears, Halo, Forza). Xbox is always green, PS is always blue. These subconscious understandings and connections persist in peoples minds.

The Harai Katashiro creatures in Silent Hill f really remind me of The Suffering’s Slayers.

Similar jerky movements, skinny looks, and even those metallic footsteps. Feels like a direct homage. Lovely stuff.

I don't even find the face uncanny, it's just a miserable smile. It's like a person who is at their lowest point in life, forced a smile on their face. Nothing happy about this expression. Just pain.

Well let's be fair. It was a mixture of both. People wanted Kotick gone, but they also celebrated the acquisitions for the content it would bring to the xbox players. The initial reaction was naive, but also, reality is, fuck Kotick.

Yeah, prices have increased not only on hardware but subscriptions too. You should ask yourself, how much you spend on games per year? How many games do you play per year? If you only play like few games you really like, does it make sense to spend 400 USD a year on the subscription? Probably not.

While I understand the sentiment of "Microsoft greed" regarding the Xbox price increases, and I sympathize with the outrage, but the fact is, the writing has been on the wall. We've been told for years that the Game Pass model is not sustainable. Now we're past those words of warning. #xbox

I agree with you on the importance of Sega, but once Xbox is gone, people will look at their IPs both old and new with nostalgia. Be that for Halo, Otogi, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Blinx etc etc. Losing these will be a disastrous loss to the industry.

The primary concern for Xbox is managing the transition from a closed console based ecosystem to an open multi-device ecosystem.

Console sales have dropped considerably, PC Game Pass uptake has been slow, and cloud is still seen as an extension of existing play, rather than a primary entry point.
