Balloons serve no purpose. They accomplish nothing. But they make me happy. And I would miss them if they were gone.

They remind me that my value isn't based on my accomplishments. If I was gone, people would miss me. They wouldn't just miss the tasks I perform.

I have value simply because I am.

In the "See what you want to see" category may I present the stalagmite that our tour guide in Curaçao let us know looked like "Mother Mary."

Definitely didn't say “Kinda looks like Cthulhu.”
