An incredibly rare portrait of Owain Glyndŵr has been discovered in an attic in Powys. Painted in 1399 by renowned Italian portrait artist Frédéric Quimby, this is the only known painting of Glyndŵr in existence and confirms historical records that he was blonde. #DyddOwainGlyndŵr

The Little Chef in Builth was built on the exact centre spot of Wales. Many historic meetings took place there, it's where Richard Burton met Elizabeth Taylor and where Shakin Stevens penned Merry Christmas Everyone. Owain Glyndŵr is buried in its car park...
