I do think there's like, some benefit to movements and the like having a central group of figures that can unequivocally state that hey, someone trying to use our movement for whatever gain does not align with us and are not condoned (and ideally issuing some form of a cease and desist)

I’m definitely feeling hopeful after the elections this month. But I also hope this communicates loud and clear that we need. To. Show. Up.
