New Mexico saved up money from taxing oil and gas companies to pass the nation's first universal child care program. Minnesota has the third highest average cost of child care in the country.
There’s a bill for that, and we could fund it by taxing the rich and corporations.

As the federal admin is set up to tear Medicaid apart - harming millions of Minnesotans - the House GOP is spending time casting doubt on Medicaid. Rep. Hicks is right - the agreed HHS bill addresses their concerns, but they’re holding it up because they distrust public agencies.

By taxing the 14 largest social media companies that operate in Minnesota - mining our data - we would be holding them accountable to what they truly owe while building a stronger state budget that can withstand Trump & Elon’s disastrous cuts.
