Today is #letterboxdfriday and here are my #lastfourwatched! Shanghai Blues was really fun and colorful! I loved Wake Up Dead Man, the themes resonated with me a lot. Rewatched the Jim Carrey Grinch movie for the millionth time. And watched The Nice Guys for the first time, it was extremely funny!

It's #letterboxdfriday and here are #lastfourwatched! Watched Gregg Araki's Teenage Apocalypse trilogy! Totally F*cked Up left me fucked up. The Doom Generation is now one of my favorite movies ever. Nowhere is insane and funny. And then, Avatar Fire and Ash, pretty good, but has lots of problems.

Watched Avatar Fire and Ash. Many will disagree, but I found this one better and more satisfying than The Way of Water. The spectacle is great and intense, the VFX are even better as well. But the narrative is pretty simple... And repetitive. It sorta felt like an Avatar's Greatest Hits.

Our first big Christmas update is with an amazing recovery of the final build of Resident Evil on Gameboy Color. Hotgen's impressive conversion that got canned. This is much closer to completion, and seems completable too. Lots to discover!

Wrapped shooting my newest short film made (almost) entirely with no budget.
It was stressful but also a very wonderful, learning experience venturing into a genre I'm not used to approaching, which is romance and drama.
I hope it ends up quite good.

Prehistoric Planet Ice Age was pretty damn good.

I was really high and watched this Billy and Mandy movie. It was hilariously mean-spirited. Rewatched this dinosaur documentary from my childhood. Presence was good, but had problems with it. Really enjoyed Black Bag. Beautifully shot!
