TalkingParents. It can be court ordered (especially if one person requests it), nothing can be changed after the fact, and courts accept transcripts.

Yesterday my 13 year old decided to make a blanket fort, which was great, and then we worked on the costume for Comic Con. It's coming along very nicely.

My kid’s school is doing a production of Annie and I got to do a bald cap for Warbucks 3 nights this week! I did makeup at the Lamplighters in SF while I was in college and it’s lovely (at 50 years old!) to still get to play and that people are excited about it.

Yes! And it’s having an effect on my ability to be calm and reasonable. There’s SO MUCH going on and it’s mostly bad. There’s a grassroots group here that’s working on local issues, but even there I’m having a hard time engaging without getting overwhelmed.

I know it’s stressful, but most people in special ed really want to help, and you have documentation that it’s needed. I’ve been through the IEP process with my family & helped friends with it. You can do this!
