2/2 But all totally swamped by our big trip to USA - despite flying into IAD and out of LAX and taking Amtrak in between, adds up to around 10,500 kgCO2 for family of 3. Good job it was a one off and we hadn’t flown since 2018!

Interesting! This inspired me to check ours. House is unretrofitted mid-terrace with gas boiler, so around 2,350 kgCO2 for gas and electricity. We don’t have a car, so public transport, walk or cycle - probably under 100 kgCO2 for family of 3 (including summer trip to Belgium on Eurostar). 1/2
