I got frozen to a live electrical wire once so that explains a lot.
Lovely. I’m a Christian, but my best childhood friend was (and is) Jewish. I grew up spinning dreidels and seeing everything she got night by night. We made up a greeting combining our holidays: Herry Chranukah.

If I’d rather vacuum than cook, is that a crisis?

Yup. So is the atonement like an undeserved punishment or like a ransom or like a godly example or what? Yes to all those things. And also no, and kinda sorta. Goes right along with Is God like a father or a bird or a shepherd or a king or a lion or (God forbid) a mother? Yes, kinda sorta.

Holy shit, yes. My mother-in-law says, antivaxxers don’t know what it was like to live through a polio outbreak. My mother grew up in rural VA. She developed a measles rash during school hours. Her parents had one card and there was no school nurse. She rode home on the school bus covered in spots.

Are other employees considered for this honor?

Remind me. Was this move church-related?

It’s called Buckstasy. Credit to Rich Hall who invented Sniglets.

I told my husband that you are one of my favorite people here. He asked me how I know you’re not a bot. Because bots aren’t connoisseur of peanut brittle. I guess. This may keep me awake tonight.

1. I’m glad you escaped.
2. I’m guessing you were taught that Jesus didn’t like shiny, worldly things and he turned the water into grape juice.

About me: I am not for an open border. I am in favor of strict vetting. These people have been through multiple layers of vetting. We have had our Refugee program for 70 years. One per cent (1%) of those who apply are allowed to come to the U.S. Only one President has shut it down. Guess which one.

Dropping a rope down works for squirrels. Maybe not so much for birds. Oh and if a hummingbird is stuck in your garage and can’t find its way out, park a car in the garage and put something red on top of the car. (Like a hummingbird feeder, but anything red will do.) The bird will fly to the red

Same for all that. I still shave under my arms but not every day. I have students born in majority Muslim countries. They don’t shave underarms. Oh, and they wax. No razors.

I am 57. I used to wear glasses for nearsightedness. Six months ago my vision *improved*, and doc says he’s not surprised. This is somehow connected to your post.

I shouldn’t like that story because it involves violence, but I want it to be true.

Sounds like you’ve done a good job raising her so far.
