DIVA! at V&A: Loved this...except the headphones which give the immersive experience also alienate you from other exhibition-goers. Stand-out item for me: Black silk fringed dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot. It seems like it's moving even at rest. The sinuous line of buttons!

Crazy for You: I loved the original production, and saw it a million times while living in London. So happy to see the revival. Charlie Stemp is AMAZING as Bobby. Costumes v. similar to original, as is some of the choreo. Set design was inspired. Ensemble sang and danced their hearts out.

Norm Lewis! Norm Lewis in concert! Norm!!!! Norm doing great things for the material he was given! (This is me trying hard not to talk about that material specifically....) (Okay, it was Love Never Dies, aka Phantom II: Seriously, Coney Island?!?!?!) I crossed an ocean to hear Norm, and he's great.

A Strange Loop: Saw it in DC before its Broadway run, and fantastic to see it again in London. A bit trippy to see it in such a big theater after Woolly Mammoth's small space. And some Americanisms didn't quite translate wholly. Still, great show, and worth the price to see it again.

As You Like It at the Globe: Great to see a show in that space. Great cast (especially cousin Celia). The text is...not the most sensible of all the plays, eh? Still, a great time. Arrive early or book your cushion rental in advance as the line for that gets long.
