Today in Brussels, MEPs approved restrictions on common names like burger, steak, and sausage for plant-based foods (355 for, 247 against, 33 abstentions).

The EU Parliament will vote tomorrow on whether it should be illegal to call this plant-based burger a 'burger.'

This is madness. Everyone can tell the difference between a plant-based burger and a meat one.

The Belgian government, despite reversing their disastrous nuclear phase-out law, is allowing ENGIE to shutdown this vital clean energy infrastructure!

The highest court in the EU just reaffirmed that nuclear energy meets the scientific and environmental standards to be included in the EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy.

In 2023 Austria sued the EU Commission for the inclusion of nuclear energy in the Green Taxonomy. At the time they were supported by a bulwark of EU countries & environmental NGOs that opposed nuclear energy. Honestly, it looked like they might win.

But today, that whole landscape has changed.
