I was Matt+numbers back...there. No, not him. No, not her either. Yeah, the one who won't pay their nouns.

Otherwise? My bookshelves don't like me any more than my walking shoes, I read cookbooks for fun, and my trivia is more trivial than most.
To be fair, most of his experience was in screwing over NYC to benefit the upstate Republicans. It's not usually a winning record for a candidate to be the long time overt enemy of the electorate in question, Trump notwithstanding.

Or that she's that pissed off that Trump kept her from running for Senate.

If the Ukrainians can keep that spot covered with drones to kill any repair crews or engineering vehicles, it'll at least slow things down for Russian supply.

Well, it has provoked some unexpected international travel expenses; but since that was almost entirely among the clergy, it was easy for the CL to be gracious about it.

Hell hath no fury like a woman denied a seat in the US Senate which she regards as her due.

We kept lying that Republicans are Americans after they nominated Barry Goldwater. The rest was the inevitable playing out of that decision absent any consequences for it.

Not for nothing did the FBI go after the Klan in Staten Island back in the 1950s. But now I'm idly curious if the Klan ever decided to agree with the mainstream white folks WW II era decision that Italians are white after all; if not, it'd make a comeback on SI much harder.
November 15, 2025 at 4:31 AM
The white folks in question see just that direct connection: once you admit it's true, you're guilty. Hence the universal invincible ignorance of the GOP on so many subjects.
November 15, 2025 at 3:57 AM
That leads to an interesting question. If we round up and imprison all of the MAGAts in dear old Richmond County, they'd love it there. Would that make it a good location or a bad one?

The space laser converted?
November 15, 2025 at 3:05 AM
A Republican lied. For gain. Gosh. What were the odds? Ok, 100%; but still.
November 14, 2025 at 1:13 AM
That may be putting the cart before the horse.
November 14, 2025 at 1:12 AM
On the one hand, at least that's legal in New York; so for him it would be something new. On the other hand, does anyone not so brain dead as to be a MAGAt think he honored that?
November 12, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Cloudy in NYC isn't quite up to the task, though.
November 12, 2025 at 2:10 AM
They'll get you your grossly falsified figures in 30 minutes, or it's free.
November 12, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Well, they are pretty good at lying that they're not really Rockefeller Republicans who only carry Democratic party cards because they're PNG in the GOP.
November 12, 2025 at 1:32 AM
It has, but not at the top yet. Which puts us in the happy spot where the AI bubble is also the only thing keeping consumer spending afloat.
November 12, 2025 at 1:30 AM
Ah, the 'do as I say' Republicans. Gotta love 'em.

Well, ok, you don't gotta. But this is still perfectly in character for the entire GOP.

They process 7 million tons of oil, which yields perhaps 5 million tons of product at most (depending on the quality of the crude). But crunching the math, that's still $46 million lost revenue per day the plant is offline (compared to just exporting the crude); and twice that if the crude's stuck.
November 12, 2025 at 1:06 AM
If the turbines were damaged, then that's it; they'll never be able to fix it until after the war. Which would be such a pity, wouldn't it?
November 12, 2025 at 12:57 AM
Mirrors are rather unpopular on the right for good reason, and it's not usually the demands of lying about their physical appearance (which they can do in their sleep).
