It says a lot that the three visions for governance in the US are the capitalist status quo, Nordic style democratic socialism, and a police state. Republicans have gone from the party of Lincoln to the party of a corrupt authoritarian police state. Being an American right now sure is wild

Even if you don’t think this will make a huge difference, do it anyway. It’s relatively easy, and we all could use the practice. Think of it as the warm-up jog as we all start a couch to 5K except the bug run is actually a general strike. We’re out of practice at exercising collective economic power
