Subject leaders from across our family of schools reviewed the maths curriculum at St. Margaret's Infants and the RE curriculum at Brompton-Westbrook. It was great to speak to pupils, see lots of good practice in action and for staff to share their own expertise #achievetogether

LKS2 children from Brompton-Westbrook, Byron and Oaklands enjoyed taking part in the Dodgeball tournament. All teams demonstrated great teamwork and developed their understanding of game tactics. Congratulations to the team from Brompton-Westbrook who narrowly won the final.

Children from St. Margaret's Infants produced some fantastic sketch work, applying their knowledge and skills from previous art lessons to sketch African animals.

Staff from each of our four schools attended our Curriculum and Pedagogy training session. It was really insightful to hear the good practice and next steps related to each school's work in developing pedagogy related to retrieval practice, scaffolding and questioning.

Congratulations to St. Margaret's Infants who achieved the Platinum award for outdoor play and learning. The school uses its outdoor environment to enrich pupils’ mental and emotional well being across the curriculum and as part of active lunchtime play.

Children from each of our family of schools took part in the KS1 football tournament hosted at St. Margaret's Infants. Great determination, teamwork and skill was shown by each team. Congratulations to the team from Oaklands who went undefeated to win the tournament.

Children from across our family of schools enjoyed competing against other at javelin, long jump and relays as part of our indoor athletics event. Congratulations to St. Margaret's Yellows who won the girls' event and Brompton-Westbrook who won the boys' event.

Oaklands hosted RE subject leaders to hear about the refinements they have made to their RE curriculum. Staff spoke to pupils who said that they enjoy the subject and know how important it is to learn about and respect different beliefs, cultures and opinions.
