Citing the mere-exposure effect as "proof" that simply seeing depictions of certain subjects enough times will make someone seek to act out those subjects is very funny given how decades of research shows that after familiarity is established further repetitions has a negative effect.
Bornstein (1989) edit A meta-analysis of 208 experiments found that the mere-exposure effect is robust and reliable, with an effect size of r=0.26. This analysis found that the effect is strongest when unfamiliar stimuli are presented briefly. Mere exposure typically reaches its maximum effect within 10–20 presentations, and some studies even show that liking may decline after a longer series of exposures. For example, people generally like a song more after they have heard it a few times, but many repetitions can reduce this preference. A delay between exposure and the measurement of liking actually tends to increase the strength of the effect. The effect is weaker on children, and for drawings and paintings as compared to other types of stimuli. One social psychology experiment showed that exposure to people we initially dislike makes us dislike them even more. Montoya et al. (2017) edit These authors reviewed evidence that with sufficient repetitions the ascending curve for liking turns down (in the form of an inverted-U). The evidence goes back at least thirty years.

Hell, moderation on here claims that the Self-Harm label is for content that "promotes self-harm" and yet it flags images of marks left by ropes with that label because the system thinks they look kinda like cutting scars.

The definitions are literally meaningless except as pretext for censorship.

Bored and practising with some leg ties while I wait for the power to come back on.
My left leg dressed in blue denim jeans, bent at the knee so its calf is against its thigh and secured in position with coils of red rope. My right leg dressed in blue denim jeans, bent at the knee so its calf is against its thigh and secured in position with coils of red rope. My lower half still in said jeans with the soles of my feet pressed together and my knees spread apart, showing off the way the knots securing the coils of red rope mirror each other.
