Hates it, but we took him to the vet again today (you have to keep an eye on their kidney function with this med) and they took his blood sugar.

He was at 490 when he was first in. He is now at 206. 206!!! From nearly 500!!!

He also has no ketones in his urine. The meds are doing good!!

Wasn’t putting any weight back on. We also saw he was drinking a ton, peeing a ton, eating ravenously, and had fairly poor coat condition.

My guess was diabetes.

To the vet we go!

I feel like even people who approach me would be all “ugh, got to draw this awful, boring character now.” Even folks with open slots have been like “Nah,” and it’s totally okay to say no to doing something, but, I just got turned down so many times that there’s clearly something wrong with mine.
