Super humid & very warm air heading our way this evening. Right now this is sparking very intense #thunderstorms across northern Spain into France and the Bay of Biscay! An early warning that if conditions are right, these storms will continue northwards towards our region into tomorrow!

A very different ‘beast from the east’ this morning as we see a well defined band of heavy rain with embedded lightning heading westwards across southern England.

Good morning, it’s the first day of meteorological autumn and we’re carefully watching a large thunderstorm storm over northern France heading north

Parts of the Southwest are under a yellow warning for Thunderstorms, so the only question is whether this system makes the jump across the Channel.
