Mr. Schwalm has a point about tactics, though I disagree about his characterization. These people are trying to protect themselves. What he omits is that insurgencies exist because people no longer believe in the legitimacy of their government. Getting close.

The CO of the Nimitz is a white dude. I’m sure he’s a great guy and well qualified for the job. I’m also sure if the CO was a woman or minority, they would have been immediately relieved with much fanfare about DEI hiring. 🙄
