Journalist but more about Leeds, Yorkshire, beer and dogs ie the finest things in life. Opinions are mine - and correct.
Sad to say they are smaller - one patty rather than two - but same price.

Doesn’t really work for me. Lost feeling of a tap room, especially with candles on tables. Burgers have shrunk also.

Every time I haggle my Sky subscription price my first question about new offer is about making sure I get to keep Sky Atlantic - where HBO progs go

Fundamental right not to pay tax on dividends dates back as long ago as , hold on, 2016. Another Osbourne wheeze that needed fixing.

Quick mention of going back to abhorrent policies of Idi Amin, National Front and BNP would have been welcome - and within minutes of publication. They really are abject at PR.

Just what Jessie Marsch said before he was fired (months too late mind).

For starters .. reduce pension relief for high earners, reintroduce automatic tax on dividends and savings (indeed scrap anything Osborne brought in) and reduce ISA limits. To quote Prince George in Blackadder 3: ‘sensible policies for a happier Britain.’
Am available for interview/column

Spent extraordinary amount of time in the Goose - and other Firkin pubs (been there, got the t-shirts) - in late 80s. Wonderful, fun, v sweaty place. Lucky enough to meet David on a couple of occasions - lovely, modest man. Man, that Dogbolter. Wouldn’t be able to drink it all night like I used to.

I hope she’s aware that the leader of a political party was given hours free airtime and acres of print and web space to lay out his plan to be arrested (presumably by something similar to the lawless ICE goons in US) put her in a camp and be deported to, for eg, Afghanistan

Where do they get 600,000 from? Nowhere near that many in system now. Absolute exaggeration of Trumpian standards but now that number is out there it’ll get repeated and repeated until it becomes received wisdom/ignorance

Man can not live on sidebars alone and in football it means concentration on same five prem clubs
the rhythm of newspaper deadlines - now also getting it online first - still dictates a lot of writing.
And the Yorkshire Evening post was fetching shade of green, not vulgar pink like the rest.

There’s a piece in Private Eye about it. Reach policy is now to add slightly random story with link for clicks.

Indeed. It’s another loss for facts v feelings.
