I like TTRPGs, Catch me here discussing Year Zero Engine, Call of Cthulhu and PF2E, not necessarily in this order.
Gatekeeping is alive and well it seems
Same guy posting across different threads and this is the exact problem I have with the major critiques about PF2e.

It's gatekeeping. It's all gatekeeping from smug elitist fucks who think it's a babywheels system for incompetent GMs when really they just hate what they see as incompetence.

Because there's been some talk about not having enough content creators in the #Pathfinder2e space on Youtube I'd like to raise my hand and submit for your viewing my video on basic encounter design for the system.

Not begging for views but the numbers encourage more of it.

Playing the dragongame is supporting Wotc. Contributing to its dominance of the hobby, helping it to maintain its status, is supporting Wotc. If you really oppose what they're doing, you need to do more than just close your wallet to them. You need to walk away entirely and support someone else.
I have very little patience for the "just pirate it" crowd that shows up whenever WotC pulls a WotC.

All you are doing is playing D&D without paying for it so you feel less guilty about it.

Unless you are going to take that money and energy and use it to support other creators, shut the fuck up.

Today, we talk about a variety of complaints about Recall Knowledge, how much validity those complaints have, and what GMs and players can do about them.

I started with Warhammer Fantasy 1st edition and Witcher, the Imagination game. Two very different games but both with enough lore for 12 year old me. Twenty odd years later l still play WFRP, but 4th ed, and as for Witcher I sometimes look for old book copies, meaning to give it another go.
Hey #ttrpg folks! A couple quick poll-like questions for you:

- What were the first two ttrpgs you played?
- Do you remember either of these games fondly? Do you still play them? Have you outgrown them?

Feel free to reply here or quote post to spread the poll!

So is the true isue with spells getting nerfed in #pathfinder2e the ease of access? Scrolls and wands get dirt cheap as game goes on, and you can assume at certain point that you'll be under effect of one or more buff, and some players even account it as their default state. And here we go into 1/?

So, I finally finished Wind and Truth(an amazing book) and I had some more time to look into playtest classes. So far I am really happy to see Life Tap. Such a neat reliable focus point spender that slaps a pretty nasty debuff for a minute and heals someone for the low cost of one action 1/2

The recent trend to evaluate the writing quality of early #pathfinder2e APs as strictly bad is slowly coming around. More people seem to be appreciative of Age of Ashes recently, and while I haven't experienced Extinction Curse a recent survey shows it has garnered at least some positive reaction1/?

First post here, so might as well overshare. I love PF2e making free hand fighting styles(yes, styles, there's more than one approach to having a free hand during combat). It never actually dawned on me why, until today. Turns out having cerebral palsy that affects my left side is the norm for me.
