Saw Demon Slayer. The visuals popped. Most of the English VO slapped. The fights were chaotic. But, the timing, oof. It was like running a race where you stopped every 15 minutes to answer a trivia question. Worse was the streaming effect where everyone says what's happening on screen. I have eyes.

I haven't recently read a book that did so little with so many words than this book. I didn't know who the main character was. 2 of the characters made my teeth ache. The interesting ideas were undercooked. The ship battles were well written. I'm hoping the next book will be bettet now.

I keep forgetting to mention I ran my first session of Daggerheart. There is a lot to like about this system but the learning curve to do away with filthy habits from D&D is steep. I will battle on and hopefully keep my players entertained.

Finally got my hands on Tower Dungeon which is an excellent read. Just enough setting to make me want to know more. Gachiakuta is balls out wild.

Like lots of people I spent time w/these characters. Some of their stories were good reads, too many were not, but that didn't bother me. It was a fun romp back to those days reading this newest trilogy. Oh there were flaws w/the story & many bits of repetitive exposition but yea I enjoyed my time.

Once more with feeling. Slowly I have been working my way back into trying to run this. I've read the SRD, I've built a little adventure, and a few friends have said yes to sitting at my table. I'm terrified I will mess this up.

Although there are some dialogue lines & plot choices that make me sudder while saying "Ew gross" I enjoyed the heck out of the new Superman movie. I know, I know we are not buying USian products & Big Blue is defiantly that but I like the character. 2nd best live-action Lex ever.

I walked into a local coffee shop and order a coffee.
"Do you want room for cream?"
"Absolutely not."

This morning went by quickly. This afternoon is moving slowly. I think i have closed off two chapters and with luck will advance two more towards completion. I emptied a pen.
