Expanding Access and Learning at the Bird Museum!
Birds are declining around the world, and The WFVZ Bird Museum and Research Center studies and explains why. We are the only natural history museum in Ventura County, California. Located in the city of Camarillo, we use our research and education programs, and the largest collection of birds' eggs and nests in the U.S. and the world, to help birds and to help our local community understand and value them.

Happy Thanksgiving from the WFVZ Bird Museum and Research Center!

Had Benjamin Franklin had his way, the Wild Turkey might have graced the Great Seal of the United States, perhaps instead of our dinner plates this holiday season.
