90% of parents agree that PBS remains a trusted source for kids' shows + games.

But the vital funding pool that has helped stations like GBH create innovative programs like ZOOM, Arthur + Molly of Denali has shrunk significantly after the loss of nearly $30 million in federal cuts to PBS KIDS.

56 years ago this week, Judy Griffin took a risk by hitchhiking to Woodstock after her car broke down. She poked her head into the window of a nearby 1967 VW Beetle and asked for a ride. Jerry was in the back seat. Half a century, two sons and five grandchildren later, the two are still together.
