As a social wellbeing coach, I'd just like to say 2 things:

1. Humans are social animals. We need no "excuse" to bond and socialise.

The middle statement is false. Though loneliness can affect or be affected by the state of our mental health, it is primarily a social health issue that affects other areas of our wellbeing, too.

The first statement is the false one. While partnership and procreation can be protective factors for some people, "traditional" family formation is by no means a guarantee against loneliness.
