I misspoke earlier. In fact, candles ARE permitted on the table in Cambridge restaurants, PROVIDED there is a firefighter in the room!

thinking back to that one neighbor I used to have whose entire luxury apartment in our condo was furnished exclusively with furniture he made from corrugated cardboard. this included bookshelves. it was beautiful, strong, and a wonderful display of craftmanship.
