Giovanni Bosco was born in 1815 in Piedmont. As a priest he developed a ministry of care for the young in Turin. He founded the Salesians, named after Francis de Sales, who work the world over.

Born in 1225 Thomas Aquinas through his study and prayer brought the wisdom of Aristotle into Christian faith. This Doctor Angelicus, a great Dominican, teaches Christians to embrace truth whatever its origin. May he inspire our journey of faith.

Saint Wulstan was prior at Worcester Cathedral and in 1062 became bishop of Worcester. He visited all the communities in his diocese and was known for his generosity to the poor. He is buried in the cathedral.
