I’m looking forward to watching this again nearer to Christmas. I saw it at the beginning of this year and adored it. It will make my Top 10 of 2024, for sure.

My daughter loves her too! I must say, she won me over instantly. I skipped last year’s series entirely but it felt good to be back on board last night.

I’m not able for the tension in them! I love that there are story threads being woven through these early books that I know will come up again later. They’re just so well crafted. So glad they were recommended to me. On to book
5 once I’ve recovered and listened to something lighter in between.

Thank YOU! I love these books. They’re so bloody good. My 15 year old knows when I’m listening to one coz I wander round wide eyed, occasionally popping out an AirPod to tell her “I’m gripped, Eva!” She just rolls her eyes. I’ve got The Kill lined up but I need a non murdery palette cleanser next.

I’m listening to Jane Casey’s The Stranger You Know on BorrowBox. The DC Maeve Kerrigan books were recommended to me in a book group and I’ve throughly enjoyed them all so far. Gripping, gritty, dark but with humour and real human moments. Would definitely recommend to others.
