so in conclusion, I think its MOST LIKELY the pipos are monkeys and not apes. the most compelling evidence for me is the monkey park sign in the opening cutscene

or perhaps maybe the developers didnt think about it and they are part monkey and ape

its most likely the pipos are based off japanese macaques which have very short tails, so they are probably in the pipos pants

try looking at the most common types of macaque, the rhesus and the crab eating macaque
you can also rule out certain ones like the crested macaque which have a very distinct skull
maybe find out where it came from? places with macaques usually only have one very specific type

i'd say the most fitting monkey to be an assassin would be the squirrel monkey, they are small and nimble

in german their name is "Totenkopfaffe" which translates to skull monkey

also they apparently rub their urine on their hands for some reasons, maybe they could do that with poison? gross!

I dont know who this guy is, but i do know monkeys should never be pets!!! it is very mentally damaging for them to be kept in a house or cage and to be isolated from other monkeys. please look it up, im sure this guy had no bad intentions but the monkey deserves to live free!
