Europe, including France and Germany, have announced they are working on a plan in the event the United States follows through on its threat to attack Greenland.

The UK has declined a US request to help invade Greenland. UK officials have instead met with their counterparts from Germany and France to begin preparations for deploying a defensive force in Greenland. The goal is to protect Greenland from invasion or attacks.
