They (the “conservative“ majority on the court) don’t care about the Constitution. Every branch of government is corrupted. I don’t have much faith in that court.

True but I still wouldn’t count on a pardon if I were a member of this cabinet. The president avoided conviction thanks to a complicit GOP senate. I might be wrong but I don’t see them going along with war crimes. The pressure will build to impeach and convict.
